Isaac “West” Rubinstein is an American artist known for his large-scale abstract paintings which are often based on subconscious gestures and linework that recall the action and movement of traditional graffiti style writing.
He first exhibited in 1985 with Librizzi Gallery’s ‘Graffiti & East Village Artists’ show, and has since exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in the united states and internationally. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
